Cancer Made Me Do It

Acceptance is not defeat. There is always a way out. You have to open the ancient boxes, give back what doesn’t work for you, accept new ones and give new ones away, too.

I now have limitations – some are hard to accept. You can get out of here alive, though not without trade outs. With work, you can make the trades fair.

You are not required to have a terminal disease or any other tragic life-event to begin un-boxing and making your trades. You can learn to forgive yourself and love yourself, too. The journey to your cleaner, clearer self will be difficult and heartbreaking and every moment worth it.

Don’t wait for cancer to make you do it.
